Follow-up
“Slipped,” featuring the adventures of the Scarlet Sparrow, will return shortly — as soon as I adjust to the time change and once I find my drawing-table lamp. It gets dark here in Iowa earlier. Probably has something to do with the curvature of the Earth.

Notice From the Management
Just when things were started to get exciting again ….
While I prepare to move and start a new job, future chapters of Slipped might appear on a less-than-regular basis. I apologize for any temporal shifts this might cause.
Once we are settled, pens are unpacked and my drawing table is set up, etc., I will resume regular, steady storytelling.
